This is an original NEC PC Engine CoreGrafx console that has been cleaned and modified with a ground lift modification, allowing compatibility with region-free HuCard adapters.
The console retains its original factory hardware and video output, making it a great option for collectors and retro gaming enthusiasts looking for an authentic PC Engine experience with expanded game compatibility.
Features:
Original NEC CoreGrafx Hardware: Stock console with its original factory electronics and video output.
Ground Lift Modification: Enables compatibility with region-free adapters for playing North American TurboGrafx-16 HuCards.
Region-Free Compatibility: Play both Japanese PC Engine and North American TurboGrafx-16 HuCard games when using a compatible region-free adapter.
Original Video Output: Retains the factory composite video output. No RGB or HDMI modifications have been installed.
Cleaned Console: Console has been cleaned and remains in its original configuration aside from the ground modification.
Please note: A compatible region-free adapter is required to play North American TurboGrafx-16 HuCards (sold separately). The ground modification alone does not make the console region-free.
A great way to enjoy the original PC Engine library while adding the flexibility to play games from both regions without permanently altering the console’s original appearance.
