This is a cleaned, tested, and upgraded NEC PC Engine featuring the Turbonanza RGB modification for improved video output and compatibility with modern display setups.
The Turbonanza upgrade provides high-quality RGB video output, delivering a noticeably sharper, cleaner picture with more vibrant colors compared to the console’s original composite video output.
Features and upgrades:
Turbonanza RGB Upgrade: Adds high-quality RGB video output for a cleaner, sharper picture when used with compatible cables and displays.
Ground Lift Modification: Allows the console to work with compatible region-free adapters, making it possible to play North American TurboGrafx-16 HuCards in addition to Japanese PC Engine games.
Region-Free Compatibility: Supports playing games from both regions when used with a compatible region-free adapter (sold separately).
Cleaned and Serviced: Console has been cleaned and upgraded.
Please note: A region-free adapter is required to play North American TurboGrafx-16 HuCards. The ground lift modification does not make the console region-free on its own.
A great option for anyone looking for an upgraded original PC Engine with improved video quality and expanded game compatibility.
